About Us

We are a family run business in the Motueka, Tasman, Nelson & Marlborough area. We offer professional tree services with highly skilled & safety conscious arborists who have an eye for detail.

With over 10 years experience our lead arborist and owner Bene Ritschny has learned a lot about trees and how best to care for them. After completing his training & qualifications overseas and working in the industry there for 5 years he returned home to New Zealand. He spent the next 5 years working for a leading tree company in both Nelson and Marlborough before taking the leap and starting his own company. The result of this endeavour is Arborco Tree Specialists which he runs with his wife Sally.

Bene takes care of the hands on work and quoting while Sally looks after the admin.

When we're not working we love to travel around New Zealand in our little caravan with our son and dog.
